The northern tip of Vancouver Island is a region exploding with diverse wildlife such as black bears, bald eagles and orca whales. It is celebrated for its world class beaches, untouched wilderness and beautiful scenery, extensive hiking trails, fishing, wildlife tours, kayaking and its historical importance as home of the Kwakwaka’wakw peoples. There is certainly always something to do.

Vancouver
Vancouver is the perfect mix of vibrant city living and stunning scenery with both mountain and ocean views. It has made it to the top of the world's most liveable cities list several times and it's not difficult to understand why! The city is incredibly diverse with a large chinatown and 52% of its population are native speakers of a language other than English. It is also the largest seaport in Canada. Just outisde of Vancouver are some of the best ski slopes in the world and it was host of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Vancouver has also become a popular filming destination thanks to it's beautiful urban and natural setting.

Victoria
The capital city of British Columbia has numerous historical buildings and certainly has the most British feel of anywhere I have experienced so far in Canada. Victoria is a tourist hotspot not least because of its picturesque views, impressive architecture, water-based activities, and afternoon tea traditions. It is also a city that appears to be beautifully in bloom for much of the year.
