Vote for Port Hardy's Youth Leadership Centre!
Since my arrival at Port Hardy in May, I have been fortunate enough to be involved with the Port Hardy Youth Wellness Committee. This committee has been meeting on a regular basis over the past few months to discuss ways to generate positive changes for youth in Port Hardy and other nearby communities in the Mt. Waddington area. We are in the process of applying for an Aviva grant to be able to create a centre where children and young people will feel empowered to attain their full potential by providing social/emotional learning, academic support, skills training, career consultation and access to digital technology. In order for this centre to be a success we need to secure this funding which means we need your vote!
